Gigi Adamashvili’s sound is a sophisticated, genre-blending fusion that strategically connects four distinct musical styles: acoustic indie, folk, pop, and jazz. The core of his music is built on the organic foundation of acoustic indie and folk, prioritizing authentic, lyric-driven storytelling and minimalist acoustic guitar arrangements. He elevates this raw foundation by incorporating the structured, melodic accessibility of modern pop, giving his tracks clear hooks and driving rhythms. Finally, drawing from his academic training, Gigi infuses jazz elements into his arrangements through complex harmonic progressions, smooth vocal phrasing, and improvisational textures. This precise balance results in a refined, contemporary sound that is both musically complex for jazz enthusiasts and highly accessible to mainstream pop and indie audiences.

Gigi earned his degree from the Jazz Faculty at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire. Seeking to expand his creative horizons, he spent one of his four university years studying at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the Erasmus program, absorbing European musical influences that continue to shape his sound today.
On September 23rd, Gigi is going to share his artistic evolution with the world through the release of his debut album, ‘Try Hard Fish’. Packed with rich acoustic melodies and jazz-infused elements, the album reflects his journey as a writer and performer. ‘Try Hard Fish’ is going to be available to listen on all streaming platforms worldwide.
